Born William J. Sorice AKA Bill Sorice in Richmond Hill, Queens, New York. He is an American Entertainer: actor, writer, director, producer, editor, stage manager who enjoys wise-cracking while making perfect cocktails for his party guests.

Currently his short film, VINNY VINO continues its success on the film festival circuit with 12 Official Selections and 2 Awards.

Bill is a character actor and over the years has acted in several plays, independent short and feature length films. He considers himself lucky to have been cast in the Lead Role 'Oscar Brody' playing opposite David Naughton (An American Werewolf in London), Brian OHalloran (Clerks), and Gerry Bednob (40 Year Old Virgin) in Stevan Mena's BRUTAL MASSACRE: A COMEDY.

He played the character Lucky Two Fingers in the NY Lottery ‘Little Bit of Luck’ Commercial – Other Kinds of Luck which ran nationally for 1 1/2 years.

His stage play OUT OF THE BOX (comedy) premiered at New York’s Producers Club Grande theatre to a well received audience.

Still photographs of Bill were featured in Ridley Scotts AMERICAN GANGSTER as a 1970s crooked New York City cop and mug shot inserts for the TV series LAW & ORDER. He has also appeared in several print ads ranging from Verizon to Whiskey.

Trained by the Ambassador of Lindy Hop Frankie Manning (Hellzapoppin, Swingen anfaller) and Choreographer Paul Grecki (Swing City), prepared Bill to show off his moves and dance socially, on stage and for indie films. Bill and his dance partner Fatima, now his wife, went on to teach small groups and private swing dance lessons.

He continues to WRITE stage plays, short and feature length screenplays which are available for option, purchase or co-production. He currently has an experimental short film project in pre-production.

Bill received a BFA in Communication Arts from NYIT, is an active member of SAG / AFTRA, drives a 1967 Plymouth Fury III convertible, resides in Manhattan with goldfish, two cats, one wife and his baby girl, Audrey.
